Usually when a property calls itself a ‘lake resort’, they mean they’re situated by the lake, on lake, on its banks. All a part of older properties, some of these cottages date back around two centuries. The Ayurmana Spa is housed in an almost 100-year-old building, and is an airy cottage with chic treatment rooms and an extensive ayurvedic spa menu. The pizhichil is most popular here-a light massage that uses a continuous stream of medicated oil covering the entire body. Follow it up with an aromatic bath or a dip in the pool’s Jacuzzi enclosure by the edge of the lake.
