Bogmalo Beach Resort

Pigeon Island offers unspoilt dive sites, between 6 and 30 m deep, with excellent visibility. You’ll encounter sharks and large barracuda in the crystal clear waters around the island, which makes it an underwater photographer’s paradise. The island is Located south of Bogmalo and is a fun daytrip. Base yourself at the Bogamalo Beach Resort-the building faces the sea, its waves lash the parapets of the resturant. There’s distinct Mediterranean flavour to the architecture, though Otherwise the area is typically Goan: a small fishing village with coconut trees and smiling faces. Part of the resort is the Niramaya Ayurveda Village, which has quaint (but air –conditioned) cottages to stay in. Scattered around in the resort are mysterious little islands and wrecks in the silt. There’s also a little eatery that claims to be Osibisa’s favourite.
