We applaud This desire to protect their guests’ priacy, and urge you to hop on the 60-metre bamboo bridge that crosses a creek, cutting off This slice of paradise from the rest of the world. The beach here is absolute heaven for stretching out on, and Elsewhere guarantees that the only other footprints you’ll see are those of fishermen and turtles. There are four gorgeous beach houses to choose from-the Captain’s House and Priest’s House are large with 3 bedrooms each, the piggery has 2 bedrooms, and if your wallet’s a bit lighter, you can rent out just one room in the Bakery. All houses are built in traditional Portuguese style, with terracotta-tiled sloping roofs, and are filled with rustic-chic furniture. If you don’t want to be hemmed in with walls, choose Canvas instead, in one of the three Otter Creek tents, that sit on the beach and face the creek, and Whose crises-crossed bamboo windows let the air swirl in.
