Nalagarh fort

Located on a hillock at the foothills of the Himalayas. Nalagarth fort straddies two worlds efortlessly. It is at the entr;y to Himachal Pradesh, but no too far from the urban attractions to Himachaol Pradesh,but not too far from the urban attraction of Chandigarh. Built across five levels, the majestic fort is more than five centuries old and bears its age with grace. The heavy Mughal influence at the time of its design is overtly evident by the classic square structure and embellishments. The rooms are done up in warm tones with period furniture. The sprawling lawns are ideal for chasing each other about, while the Shivaliks provide a fantastic resting point for the eyes.
