Pataudi Palace

Compared to some of the other royal abodes in the country, the Pataudi Palace might not look like much from ourside, but the;n again, pretentiousness has never been the hotel'’ virtue. A stark white structure, built in 1935, the palace nevertheless has n unmistakably imperial manner. Domes, pillars, arched verandahs, sprawling lawns with fountains, period furiture, paintings and marble fireplace contribute to make the palace truly a throwback to the Nawabi period. The cuisine, of course, continues with the same theme, and is apporpritely rich and delicious, fit for a couple of princely lovers.
