The Bagh

This splendid heritage hotel is set in 12 acres of a 200-year-old garden. With its high ceilings, arches, and spacious verandahs, all flooded with sunlight, you’ll have a hard time deciding whether to relax indoors or in the lush orchard that surrounds the building. The entire structure.made of local stone, bristless with extravagance-the verandahs are deep, the bathrooms are marble, the bedcovers are silk. The building’s passages are lined with paintings by contemporary Indian artists, and the orchard brims with flowering plants and fruit trees, and invites you to take long, quiet strolls.
