Tikli Bottom

Located 50 km from Delhi, Tikli is a little village nestling amidst the Aravalli hills. Its main attractiion is Tikli Bottom, a fabulous, Lutyens-style country house getaway. With only four bedrooms, It’s intimate but luxurious. Bedrooms open out into the courtyard, the bathubs are big and there’s also a pool to lounge around by. Meals are en famille with owners, and there’s a golf course nearby to putter about. But items of greater interest lie half an hour away, where five malls and seveal hundred shops await your credit card (s). Between DLF Mega Mall, Metropolitan, City Centre, Shara and Ambi Malls you can come away with designer clothing, jewellery, books home accessories and cosmetics. If you don’t mind a slighty longer drive, head to the Crescent Mall on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, with boutiques by most of Delhi’s famous (and infamous) designers.
