    Casa Colombo

    in the centre of bustling Colombo, Casa Colombo stands out like a beacon for the discerning traveller. There are just 12 suites in This restored 200-year-old Moorish mansion. As you enter, a multitude of images five for attention-unending vistas of Italian and Indian mosaic floors, carved arches, mounded ceilings and morrish-style balconies. To provide variety, the suites are all designed differently but carry a common leitmotif of high ceilings, large beds, raw silks, chrome and glass. What's more, inmates of each suite have their own concierge, titled Casa Domos, and are chauffeured about in vintage cars, or lovely tuk-tuks.
