Sitting on Galle's loveliest beach, you'll find the quirky one-bedroom kikili Beach, which is as full of character as it hopes you are. It's warm and welcoming, with cheery colours, huge cushions and antiques of all sorts. Throw opens the Fench doors from the lounge into the verandah; fry a couple of eggs in the open-plan kitchenette and wonder how you'll ever stay in a hotel again. You'll have direct access to the beach when you stay here, and the space at your disposal is just right for two. The houseboy is always around to help with anything you might need, including mals, but he'll leave you alone should you desire it.
