Palm Villa

A Private villa in a heritage town, Located in the heart of Galle fort. An 18th century Dutch house that's been sensitively renovated, Palm villa is quietly modern. With three suites, a pool, a sun lounge on the terrace and a verandah, there's plenty of space to do nothing in. There's round-the-clock staff too, and a cook can be arranged, though It's primarily rented as a self-catering villa. But Galle fort has a lovely variety of restaurants, if you're scared of burning down the place. And oh the shops! Besides antique stores all over, some of the most interesting boutiques in the area are Elephant walk for chic gifts; laksana and MM lbrahim for jewellery; Mimi mango for funky original clothing; the fort allery for art, books, designerwear and jewellery and Exotic Roots for art décor.
