The Hideaway

Whether It's the local Walawwa food, a barbecue, or a fine dining international option dictate your preference and opt for al fresco meals. Just outside Colombo, in a sleepy coconut and pineapple estate (makes for great fresh juices and cocktails), the Hideaway is a piece of quiet, and a highly romantic one at that. Flower barrels and essential oils sweetly scent the air in the villa; there are two suites, called Sun and moon, and a room called Star, with Canopied beds and Candles, modern lamps and antique furniture.
